Getting into Character, The Book Launch, Recorded a Radio Interview, and Donated Two Copies of My Play to the Local Library

Pre-Launch:

Promoted my play to family, university family, friends, and social media.

Got into character. That of my detective protagonist, Inspector Horace. Wearing his trench coat, trademark red scarf that he wears whatever the weather because it brings him luck, and poised with the piece of liquorice that is about to help him think, I posed for a photograph. Not that Inspector Horace needs to think, his teenage daughter in the play, Florence, is quite capable of doing that for her father.

26th February 2021 (The Launch Day):

Book successfully launched with a 4-minute YouTube video to explain to potential readers how my play is set at The Lion Hotel in Shrewsbury and references both Charles Dickens and a Victorian entertainments bill.

1st March 2021:

Recorded a piece for local radio – details to follow …

2nd March 2021:

Donated 2 copies of my play to the Music and Drama section of Shrewsbury Library.
