A Dedicated Facebook Page for 2025
On 6 March 2025, a Facebook page was launched to entertain, inform, and keep updated, readers of the novel, Sarge Is in Charge: An Inspector Horace Mystery.
The page is called, ‘Sarge – The Fictional Police Dog’, and is fronted by the soft toy creation of the novel’s brave police dog.
Facebook posts throughout 2025, have included: police and detective-themed facts, information about German shepherds and other dogs, literary musings, poetry, and funny pictures featuring Soft Toy Sarge.
In addition to Facebook, Soft Toy Sarge’s textual updates, images, and in some cases, video antics, can be found on Instagram and TikTok. In fact, there is no platform that a police dog would not bravely venture onto in helping his master with promotion.
The author would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that has purchased the novel so far. The purpose of it is to highlight the bravery of police dogs through a work of fiction. As always, the book contains facts, as well as telling a story during which the dog is undoubtedly the star.
