5-Star Review and Featured in Publisher's Weekly

In June 2023, Jack the Ripper? received a 5-Star review, describing it as 'intriguing and a new twist on the story of the Ripper.' The review goes on to say that 'as the book unfolds it becomes very apparent to how much research has gone into writing this book.' Reviews like this are very welcome and an encouragement to continue writing good fiction that has been well-researched. Research is important to add realism and the right sense of atmosphere to a work of fiction.

At the end of August 2023, Jack the Ripper? featured in Publisher's Weekly magazine as a Select Listing, and then on 16th October 2023 with other Austin Macauley books, as part of a display entitled 'Adventures In Our World and Beyond Into Every Galaxy'. There is a sense of pride attached to having your book displayed alongside that of fellow writers. This has been made possible thanks to the efforts of Austin Macauley, who continue to work alongside me with each publication and its subsequent promotion.

With Halloween nearly upon us, Jack the Ripper? may well attract interest due to its Gothic tropes. Such interest is welcomed. It has to be said, though, that with such darkness also comes light, as Inspector Doyle once again has the opportunity to see his Victorian family, thanks to time travel, as he uses it as a means to return and prove his innocence in respect of the crimes he is wrongly accused of committing in 1888.
